Hi, my name is Derek Alan Rowe. I am a Creative Director, Entrepreneur and Immersive Filmmaker. I love to innovate and have a 5 year old daughter who teaches me everyday what it means to be human.
I volunteer much of my time to creating new solutions to old problems including at a non-profit, Don't Waste Durham, where I am the co-founder of a reusable takeout service called GreenToGo.
My journey to creative director has included running a creative agency, producing two feature documentary films, touring the US capturing national parks in virtual reality, and in between trying to find the time to write and play music. I am dedicated to seeking out the answers to my questions and bringing those answers to life…and most importantly having fun doing it.
